I would like to sincerely thank every single guild member for growing NOBO Handweavers into a guild that is truly beyond what Betsy and I imagined that first meeting in April 2008.<\/p>\n

Notes from Thursday, April 24th<\/sup> meeting of A Weavers Guild to be Named Later<\/strong><\/p>\n

Next meeting<\/em><\/strong>:\u00a0 Thursday, May 22 7 \u2013 9 pm at Loom with a View.\u00a0 We need a name for the guild!<\/em>\u00a0 A few names suggested at the meeting were Clipper City Hand Weavers Guild<\/span>, Port City Hand Weavers Guild<\/span>, Merrimack Valley Hand Weavers Guild<\/span>, and Essex County Hand Weavers Guild.\u00a0 <\/span>Please<\/em><\/strong> bring a name suggestion to the next meeting\u2026<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

NOBO Handweaver’s 4th anniversary celebration is April 26, 7-9 pm at Spencer-Peirce-Little Farm, 5 Little’s Lane, Newbury. \u00a0There is plenty of parking available (even room for Newbury Fire Department’s ladder truck)<\/em>. We will have a short ceremony to recognize the change of court positions before the presentation of Linda Cortright, editor and publisher of Wild Fibers Magazine.<\/p>\n

Goodness, CONGRATULATIONS to all of us!\u00a0 The energy in the room last night was remarkable.\u00a0 I know we all share in the excitement of our guild year to come and we have many reasons to!<\/p>\n
